:: TIPS - STAY ALIVE CREATIVELY ::

Creativity has so many definitions that I sometimes describe it has the ability to create something out of anything. It can come out of mistakes, stupidity, dumb talks, and dreams or probably a fight, you shouldn’t get involved in one, or you might find creativity in a broken jaw. Here are tips that might come in handy:

More fun fewer headaches
When we are constrained our imaginations begins to shrink. The best thing that would ever happen to you is to gain freedom. Try to trim the cluster of works out on your schedule as much as you could, you have less guilt during "fun" time because you're on top of the few tasks that are critical. Being busy does not always mean real work - Thomas A.Edison. Remember all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, but that doesn’t give room for unseriousness.

Be a Creative "Copy cat":
Stay alive with Inspiration; it’s about borrowing and combining ideas from images, videos, the internet or anything that interest you, see if you can adopt something from it to your work. Try to make adjustments like can I make it bigger or shorter, use a different colour, add to it, use some elements from it or vice-versa etc, and you would be amazed at the fascinating results you would get. The mind relates more with images, so feed it with a lot of inspiraton, you won’t know when you want to do something similar.

Research, read, read and read
“You cannot determine the extent of improvement needed in any area unless you know your current level of competence” says a book on “Managing Yourself Creatively”. You would enhance your creativity by reading tutorials, blogs, get magazines, and pick any book. You won’t know how much information you would gather while reading. Make sure you read the HELP content of any software you use, it helps you work faster and saves time from unnecessary issues.
Read peoples comments and encourage feedbacks.

Always practice:
To become a professional you need 10,000 hours of practice.... PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT. Don’t just read practice, it helps you get better on what you have read and resolves problems you might encounter while working. When you practice consistently, it becomes a part of you, it won’t be easy to let go off what you’ve learnt.

Dealing with head block:
This is a problem that creative minds have not found a particular solution to; instead use different methods to solve it. If you are working on a project and you discover that inspiration is not flowing, or you are not feeling yourself, or everything you do doesn’t seem to make any sense at all, all you have to do is give yourself some breathing space, do not force it because you might end up creating the worst stuff or smashing your pc against the wall due to frustration.
Minimize the job and jump to another one if it’s not working, stand up get some fresh air, try to listen to music or do something to amuse you. If you are trying to meet up with a deadline, scroll through your gallery of inspiration, or related jobs that you have done in the past, who knows something might just drop in your head.
